Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Greeter Security Officer position you will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premise at a variety of client sites. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. (2) years' experience in hospitality or customer service background desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides luxury, first class, personal customer service to all colleagues and visitors.

  • Solve issues presented by colleagues, visitors, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately.

  • Keep difficult situations from escalating

  • Provide a safe and secure environment by supporting company policies and procedures.

  • Assist during emergency situations. Respond to the scene of any accidents and determine if emergency aid is required.

  • Investigate disturbances in accordance with company's policies and procedures, including summoning appropriate authorities if necessary, and documenting incident.

  • Assists management with accurate documentation of all incidents and assist in preparing incident reports.

  • Log and inventory all lost and found items.

  • Responsible for upholding a clean and neat work environment of shared front desk and security office spaces.

  • Welcome and acknowledge each colleague and guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using names when possible.

  • Answer and relay requests for information (e.g., registration, directions, and information on the facility).

  • Address service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Anticipate service needs including asking questions to better understand needs.

You should be able to deal professionally with guest inquiries, effectively solve problems and respond appropriately to complaints.
