Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Security Guard - Physical Security in Toronto, Ontario
We are seeking highly skilled and highly motivated security personnel for positions within physical security environments specializing in the protection of data security, property and life safety. We are also looking for individuals for Parking Enforcement positions that are interested in working as an MLEO. These roles are for experienced security personnel interested in developing a foundation to create a rewarding career in security operations or lay the foundation for a career in Law Enforcement. These roles require a high level of customer service and problem-solving skills including de-escalation when the need arises.

Position Overview:
Wages: $21.00-$25.00/hr (depending on experience and site)
Shift timings: Mon - Fri or Weekends or Rotational (Days, Afternoons, Nights)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform searches via metal detection devices to client employees and contractors.
De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
Issuing parking fines to violators through the court systems.
Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Ontario Security License
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
3 years of security experience minimum within large scale security operations.
Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
G class drivers' licence and vehicle required for MLEO positions.
Customer service experience is a strong asset.
